Minister Moreno attends inauguration of exhibition on rescued Chilean miners in the U.S.

Foreign Minister Alfredo Moreno attended the inauguration of the exhibition “Against all odds: Rescue at the Chilean Mine,” held at the Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. The exhibition opening was also attended by the Minister of Mining, Hernán de Solminihac and Chile’s Ambassador to the U.S., Arturo Fermandois.

During the event, Minister Moreno expressed “Chile’s gratitude to the United States, to its public and private institutions, particularly to the Department of State, this Museum of Natural History and its staff, companies that contributed with this and to the American people. All of you will have an important part in this inspiring story.”

This show commemorates the experienced suffered by 33 Chilean miners in Atacama, a few days before the first anniversary of such ordeal.
