CHILEAN EARTHQUAKE APPEAL (March 1, 2010)
On Saturday 27 February 2010 an earthquake affected a substantial part of central Chile. Together with the loss of life there has been important structural damage in several major cities.
In order to help with the relief operations, the Government of Chile is making an international appeal for assistance. In this respect, and following the instructions of president Michelle Bachelet, the Embassy of Chile in the United Kingdom has set up a bank account for the sole purpose of receiving donations.
