The applicant must appear at the corresponding Consulate of Chile overseas.

At the nearest Consulate of Chile overseas.

Who is it addressed to?

Chilean nationals whose passport or identity card is about to or expired overseas.

Requirements

The person must accredit holding documents to be renewed.

Fees

The issuing of a new Passport, Identity Card or the issuing of a requested document.

Observations

Before issuing a new Passport or Identity Card each Consulate verifies the information given to our country. For that reason, the handing over of the passport is not immediate. On the other hand, if the person wishes or must return to Chile, this may request a safe-conduct in orden to leave the country where located.
